50% Grenache, 50% Mourvèdre
“What do you do when opposites attract? Like it or not, it's a natural reaction.”
- Lene Lovich
TWTW is always one of the most enjoyable wines to blend. It is a smattering of complementary contradictions. Grenache and Mourvèdre, young vines and old vines, fruit and savory. Equal portions of Grenache and Mourvèdre from both James Berry and MAHA come together to provide intoxicating aromas of red fruits, plum, kirsch, Moroccan spices, and truffle. Elements of pomegranate, citrus peel, wet limestone, and cigar box transcend to a silky, textural and concentrated palate. While still in its brooding stage, a brisk decant is recommended in the near term. Several years in the cellar will provide great pleasure as it begins to stretch its wings. Drink 2023-2035
