Clairette seems to be completely content here at the MAHA. It’s an obscure variety from the south of France that is quickly gaining a toe hold here in the western hills of Paso Robles. A shimmering golden hue in the glass. Nuances of candied lemon peel, jasmine and sweet butter transitions to a textural journey that combines richness, minerality and freshness. It is delicious now and will age gracefully for 10-20 years. Drink 2021-2040
